Horror fans, brace yourselves for a chilling new addition to your Halloween lineup! "Creeping Death," a SCREAMBOX Exclusive supernatural slasher, is set to stream from September 10. This film promises to deliver a spine-tingling experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
A Haunting Tale
In "Creeping Death," Halloween was once a time of joy for Tim, but the holiday lost its magic when his mother was diagnosed with cancer. Seeking solace in a quiet night, Tim's plans are disrupted when his friends arrive uninvited, having stolen a mysterious sack from the doorstep of a local eccentric. This reckless act unleashes the Aos Si, a vengeful Celtic spirit that roams the earth on Halloween. Now, Tim and his friends must band together to survive the night or face the ultimate sacrifice—their lives.
Behind the Scenes
Making his feature debut, writer-director Matt Sampere expands on his acclaimed short film of the same name. The film stars Sampere alongside a talented cast, including Monique Parent, Alan Maxson, Delian Lincourt, Hunter Kohl, Ian Brown, Elise Rackemann, K Cody Hunt, Andy Horowitz, Jody Pucello, and Scott Lea. Produced by Sampere, Jason Scott Goldberg (known for "Glorious"), Erika McGowan, Brenda Block, and Tyler Dane Sutton, "Creeping Death" is a tribute to the terrifying roots of Halloween mythology.
A Love Letter to Halloween
Sampere shares his passion for the genre: "Since childhood, I've been a fan of slasher films and Halloween. I wanted to explore the holiday's lore for my first feature, which led me to the Aos Si—vengeful spirits linked to trick or treating in Celtic mythology. 'Creeping Death' is the first supernatural slasher to feature this deity. I hope viewers enjoy my homage to Halloween, its traditions, and a cautionary tale for those who trick."
