The first installment of Renny Harlin's new trilogy on home invasion horror will arrive soon.
In an unexpected move, Lionsgate made an announcement in November of last year about a new project: a trilogy based on the 2008 horror movie, The Strangers. The acclaimed director, Renny Harlin, has been given the responsibility of directing all three movies.
Details about the first movie in the trilogy, The Strangers: Chapter 1, were disclosed through stills and a short clip, but the release date remained a mystery until a recent Instagram post. The post revealed that the movie is set to hit theaters on May 17th, 2024, which is only a few months away. The fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting to see how Harlin and his team have revamped the horror classic. With the release date finally announced, the excitement amongst the fans is at an all-time high, and they can't wait to see what horrors await them.
