‘The First Omen’ – New Trailer for ‘The Omen’ Prequel Introduces You to the Mother of All Evil

Actress Nell Tiger Free, who is best known for her role in the popular psychological horror series "Servant," is all set to star in "The First Omen," an upcoming prequel to the original horror classic

"The Omen." This new prequel movie from 20th Century Studios has recently released an official trailer, which has already created quite a buzz among horror movie fans.

Scheduled to hit theaters on April 5th, 2024, "The First Omen" promises to take the audience on a spine-chilling ride through the birth of true evil. The movie has been rated "R" for its violent content, grisly/disturbing images, and brief graphic nudity. The trailer itself suggests that the movie will introduce us to Damien's mother and showcase the origin of evil.

The plot of the film follows the story of a young American woman who moves to Rome to begin a life of service to the church. However, she soon encounters a darkness that makes her question her own faith. Along the way, she uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that aims to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.

Apart from Nell Tiger Free, the movie also features Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy in prominent roles. The movie is directed by Arkasha Stevenson, based on characters created by David Seltzer. The story has been written by Ben Jacoby, and the screenplay has been co-written by Tim Smith, Arkasha Stevenson, and Keith Thomas.

The producers of the movie are David S. Goyer and Keith Levine, while Tim Smith, Whitney Brown, and Gracie Wheelan serve as executive producers. The original 1976 classic, which starred Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, and Harvey Stephens, followed the story of an American ambassador who believes his five-year-old son is the Antichrist.
