The story of Nightmare follows Mona and Robby, a young couple deeply in love. Robby has landed his dream job and they've found a great deal on a spacious yet rundown apartment. They ignore the need for extensive renovations and the constant noise from their neighbors' fighting and crying baby. However, Mona is plagued by night terrors that worsen with each sleep. Despite her hesitation, Robby is excited to start a family. But things take a dangerous turn when Mona becomes convinced that a mythical demon known as the Mare is attacking her and seeking to possess her unborn child. Her issues spiral out of control, putting both her and her baby at risk.
