The popular TV series "Pretty Little Liars" is getting a slasher-themed reboot called "Pretty Little Liars: Summer School," which is set to premiere this May. The official trailer for the new series is now available for fans to watch. The show is produced by Warner Bros. Television and will air on Max starting on May 9, 2024.


The series will begin with two episodes on its first day and then one new episode will be released every week until June 20, 2024, exclusively on Max. After the harrowing events of "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin," the main characters will have to face a new challenge – summer school. The series will follow their journey as they try to balance their classes with their summer jobs and new romantic interests.

The highly anticipated upcoming series, Pretty Little Liars, will feature a talented cast, including Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco, who will be portraying the next generation of characters. Alongside them, the show will also include other notable actors, such as Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Alex Aiono, Jordan Gonzalez, and Elias Kacavas.


The series is created, written, and executive produced by the renowned Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who has previously worked on successful shows like Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He will be joined by Lindsay Calhoon Bring, another writer from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

The production of the show is being handled by Aguirre-Sacasa’s Muckle Man Productions and Alloy Entertainment, in association with Warner Bros. Television. The executive producers for the show are Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo from Alloy, Marlene King, who initially developed the original Pretty Little Liars series, and Michael Grassi.
