Terrifier 3 Movie Pushes Boundaries with Controversial Opening Scene

With Terrifier 2 becoming a staple among horror fans, director Damien Leone decided to take it up a notch and preserve the gore legacy in the sequel Terrifier 3, releasing in theaters October 11, 2024. Critics claim that the opening scene in the new Christmas slasher is very extreme. Hollywood Studios has stated they are not even willing to support the film due to the level of gore that Terrifier 3 will be displaying.

As Leone puts it:

“If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in part 2 was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet”

However, my opinion is that with horror fans craving the new styles of gore and splatter genres the community will be more than accepting for Art the Clown’s horrific killing sprees.

We have all seen a noticeable uprising in Damien Leone’s ability to cross boundaries and make people squeamish. The amazing thing about Art, played by none other than David Howard Thornton, he’s not just terrifying, we find him relatable and funny.

So what can horror fanatics look forward to in Terrifier 3?

  • Victoria Hayes, first appearing in Terrifier 2016, is back as a possessed survivor.

  • Sienna and Jonathan are returning.

  • Christmas themed Slasher.

  • More gore and violence then previous installments.

  • Wrestler, Chris Jericho, is returning as an attendant at the psychiatric hospital.

  • We are headed for a part 4!

Yes! You read that right! Damien Leone has stated that if Terrifier 3 is a success we are looking at getting a Part 4!

( SCREAMING INSIDE )

Leone has done a great job at hiding the plot since filming and assures us that the behind the scenes will be worth the watch as well. I guess we will all have to wait till October to know anything else. In the mean time check out the Official Teaser Trailer for Terrifier 3 movie to see why this opening scene is so controversial!

Happy Slashing!
